Christmas Sparkle

using some Christmas photos. Apart from my December Daily mini album
I haven't scrapped any of these pics yet so when I saw
the sparkles mixed with neutral colours....
February's Inspiration Board Challenge
I put together this page

Using patterned papers from a Prima 12 x 12 script pad,
Tim Holtz Distress Paint, some gyprock tape,
my new favourite punch (chevron from Stampin' Up),
some vintage buttons, Dymo, and wood grain
chippy alpha (Studio Calico?).

I'm loving these inspiration boards!
And thank-you to Scrapbook Creations Magazine
for my awesome Lincraft prize last month.

Thanks for coming by

Snapshot

I had some time to scrap on the weekend so I had a play with

I combined it with One Little Word - want
it's in my journalling.

The background was made with The Crafter's Workshop 'blazonry' stencil,
some bubble wrap, and some Ranger Dylusions ink sprays.
Also a Tim Holtz stamp and an EK Success edger punch.
I added a chippy key from Scrapmatts, Bella! bling, a Prima flower,
a Studio Calico frame, and a black shipping tag.
Some stitching and Dymo journalling finished it off.

Playing with Charms Creations

Recently I scored my first batch of Charms Creations chevrons at a scrap retreat
and loved them so much that I bought some more. Here is the first lot
on a page I had been planning for ages and just didn't know how to start.
They kicked it off easily because they were the perfect colour.

I played around the eges of full page mats with an EK Success border punch
and journalled on correction tape. Some really old Basic Grey and Heidi Swapp
alphas with my fave Dymo, a touch of washi tape, and it's all done.
This was one of my warm-up pages for that weekend, and though I prefer the later ones more,
I love this one because it is so evocative of the night we'd had.

Glitz and Punchinella

My project for the 'Tag You're It' challenge at Paper Issues...
I cut the tags from gorgeous Glitz Designs papers
(available at the PI etsy shop for 20% off
when you use the code 'PEGGLES')
and added some Gauche Alchemy punchinella
to bring out the colour in the photo.

My girl turned 15 this year and instead of cake
she put her candles in party pies
which we all shared (with salad) for dinner.
Yep, she's quirky, and so lovable.
