Playing with Charms Creations

Recently I scored my first batch of Charms Creations chevrons at a scrap retreat
and loved them so much that I bought some more. Here is the first lot
on a page I had been planning for ages and just didn't know how to start.
They kicked it off easily because they were the perfect colour.

I played around the eges of full page mats with an EK Success border punch
and journalled on correction tape. Some really old Basic Grey and Heidi Swapp
alphas with my fave Dymo, a touch of washi tape, and it's all done.
This was one of my warm-up pages for that weekend, and though I prefer the later ones more,
I love this one because it is so evocative of the night we'd had.

Thanks so much for dropping by

  6. So much to love about this layout! But my favorite is how you used the border bunch to reveal the white layer underneath! I have that same border punch and have never tried this with it...but I will be soon. What a great way to stretch my punch collection! Thanks for the inspiration.
