My baby is driving!

I know he hates me taking his photo these days, but this story just HAD to be documented!
I used the sketch prompt over at Scrap The Boys and came up with this... the photos are a bit blah as they were taken on my phone.

Daddy love

A page for the Kraft It Up challenge blog. I used the lovely Tattered Angels xmas colours on my kraft cardstock background and kept it simple to focus on my b&w pics

Helmar sketch

I've never done a challenge with Helmar before even though I am an avid user of their Quick-dry 450. For Feb they offered up a sketch that really screamed at me. I did it with gorgeous Graphic45 embellishments and Curtain Call papers, with some Prima flowers thrown in for good measure.

Tape it Up

Time for a new theme at Paper Issues.
Go ahead and link up your fave projects using tape, all kinds, including Dymo (my personal favourite!)
I used up some really old decorative tapes on this page, along with a bit of kraft packing tape (the type you have to lick), Dymo tape, and correction tape.

Thanks heaps for dropping by, yours in scrappiness

Grateful

I am forever grateful to my good friend Carmel for allowing me to photograph her beautiful children. Here is a shabby/grunge page I did to use up some really old stash (the leather-look cardstock stickers, die-cut tags, and mulberry paper-remember that?). Isn't she gorgeous!

And a page of her little boy recently featured in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine.

Pink for Valentine's

I was inspired last weekend to have a play with the February Show Us Your Stuff challenge, paper dolls. I found the perfect patterned paper in a recent box I got and then decided to add some fabric 'paper dolls'. I used a Julie Balzer Crafters Workshop template with some old Making Memories paint and a piece of corrugated cardboard as a stamp with some black paint. The pink is for Valentine's Day :-)

Killarney in December

Our second stop in Ireland was Killarney, County Kerry. A B&B only two blocks from High St, easy access to shops and food. The kids liked the variety of snacks and the amazing breakfast spreads, I liked the free wifi and a separate room ;-)
We did a 'Ring of Kerry' bus trip to see some of the spectacular scenery of the Atlantic Coast, it rained for most of it. John, our bus driver, said it had rained every day in the last five years, not all day, but every day!
