I love this page, it's so him :-)
It was inspired by the challenge over at Scrap Mojo, I know it's not a Xmas quote but the boy does love Nirvana and it just suits, don't you think....

And here is my page for Colorstory for October.

Here's my page for Scrapping Word Pictures for October

My buddies at Alison Ellis Designs have some new papers, glitter and chipboard out and I was lucky enough to have a sample. They are at a show in Melbourne this weekend, wish I was too...

These papers are such fun with gorgeous colours, silver foiling, and glitter patterns, so easy to work with.

Scrap your crap

I found this new challenge blog, right up my alley, as I have soo much crap :-)
the challenge was to use up something really old and not so cool anymore...
did these for it...this page was originally planned for OLW but I lost inspiration and didn't get it finished in time. Inspiration came when I became less attached to the whole idea of it being beautiful, used a Karen Foster border sticker and some Creative Memories design lines behind the dymo, those stickers are at least 4 years old.

And this one has some ancient Mrs Grossmans snow stickers, it's amazing how you look at stuff so differently when it's on a page.

The new September challenge is up at AussieScrapMusic, check it out, lots of fun inspiration in this one! Here's mine...

Ahhh, love Colorstory, always, this one's for them. This one's a bit busy for me but I'm binge scrapping to get back into the swing. I've been having trouble finding time to scrap lately so when I finally do I have to get stuck in and do a few duds before I'm back in my comfort zone.

Brissy Weekend

Had a fabulous weekend with the girls in Brissy for the scrapbook expo recently. Lots of retail therapy, scrapping and classes with some of the greats:-)

this was a 'just because' page done one night while watching telly

This one was Loretta Grayson's class, love her stuff as it takes scrapping to the next level, closer to artwork. I will be sewing more freely on layouts from now prolly, great inspiration.

This was a double I did in the Making Memories class with Gail Pierce-Watne but it looks nothing like the page from the class. I was a little uninspired by the sample LO so did my own thing, had to make it fit with the grungy skater-boy photos I had taken to work with :-)

All up, a great long-weekend. Will definitely be going again.

One more share before I sign off for today and go deal with a hungry family. I did this LO for the Scrapping Word Pictures june challenge, my lovely duaghter and her best friend of many years now.

Hope you've had a great weekend wherever you are, thanks for dropping by.

MS Readathon

Well it's on again, and this year my 7yo Dex is really keen. He's a great reader and has a soft spot in his heart for people who are doing it hard, so after hearing all about MS at school he insisted on getting involved.
I remember doing it when I was a kid but these days it's all hi-tech, no more going door to door with bits of paper, sponsorship is all online. So if you too want to help out and donate some money to this very worthy cause (check out all their links while you are there), my boy Dex would really appreciate a donation here

thanks so much for your thoughtfulness :-)
