Rosy Cheeks and Cheeky Roses

Hi there arty peeps, hope your day is going well

Today I'm sharing my page for the current K+ challenge, it seems lately this is the only monthly challenge I'm keeping up with.

Roses 3 ways - patterned paper, cut file kraft background, black die cut.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxides from Scrapping Clearly for the blotchy blue.

Last weekend I was retreating with Neet from Flutterby Designs at Lake Keepit, so much fun! I only managed one scrapbook layout and a few art journal pages, but I did get to hang out with some favourite friends and meet some great new ones.

Lucky me off on another road trip, to Melbourne for another retreat, weekend after next. Can't wait! Hope you are getting creative time too.

Lucky Shot

Playing along with Kraft+ again this month, I scrapped a pic from the Artist retreat at Norah Head last year. This was something I got to cross off my bucket list, an intimate retreat with a spectacular venue, I could've stayed a lot longer!

The tissue paper I used was acquired in a Paris fashion shop 4 years ago,
ain't it gorgeous! And the title I designed and cut with my Silhouette, Words or Whatever now sell them with an added shamrock.
The challenge was to use your own handwriting.

Color Stories Inspiration

I haven't played at CSI for quite a while. Usually the challenges feel too constraining, not enough room to move. Lately however, this is exactly what I've needed. Mojo has been at an all time low with even the desire to create being absent a lot. I have had to force myself to do it because I know that it makes me feel happier and keeps me sane. So a tight guided challenge is just perfect.
This page is for Case File No. 169

I designed and cut my title on my new Silhouette Cameo (I think I'm in love with this machine!)

This is the summary of the challenge from CSI
