Boy-Style Shabby

I was so inspired by the brief and the gorgeous DT work over at Let's Get Shabby this month that I literally ran to my scraproom and did this page.
I started with white Bazzill, added some black acrylic paint and then Glimmer Misted 'Denim Blue' over a Crafters Workshop template for the diamonds. I used a combination Mustard Seed, Gold and Coffee Shop Glimmer Mists to colour the crepe. I cut up a worn-out pair of jeans (after making wheat bags out of the legs), added some lovely silvery grey/brown lace, found those ancient Heidi Swapp chippy letters and a couple of FTI screw brads and.....
   I love it!
Thanks so much to LGS and their DT!

  5. LOVE your page Peg.. the denim elements and paint work look fantastic. OMG his gorgeous curls are all gone, but he still looks handsome. I think I'd feel exactly the same if Luke's gorgeous curls disappeared.. not sure if he will ever cut them off. His afro just keeps getting bigger and bigger!!
