Are one of my favourite brands of scrapbooking stuff and their new range is no exception. I was lucky enough to be able to have a play with the new Photo Tray and had so much fun that I had to finish it in one sitting, I was up after 1 am! So here 'tis, and here is where it (and all the lovely Making Memories products I used) came from :-)
PS, it's now featured on the 7G blog here :-)

In a word....
Brilliant!
Tim Minchin was fabulous, energetic, erudite, witty, humble, occasionally vulgar, and pianistically super-talented! Jasper turned to me at interval and said "If he's playing again we have to go!"
Sydney was pleasant, we did a few touristy things, walked across the bridge, visited the Aquarium. We were busy the whole time, slept well at night, a good weekend.

Found the noisy frogs!
For the last few months #1 son has had disturbed sleep thanks to two very noisy frogs in the water feature at the back door. I have encouraged them to move out by putting additives in the water but they didn't seem to mind. But, on tuesday, the two little boys were digging in the sand and found them! So without further ado, here they are...

Shop & Crop News
I got to set the Design Team Monthly Challenge for November so here it is. Why not come on over to Shop & Crop and join in, you could even win a $20 voucher for the shop where there will be some fantastic new 7 Gypsies coming soon!
The November Challenge is to create a page using only one range of papers and elements. You can use any alphas for titles and journalling, but no cardstock and only one paper range. I have used the gorgeous kit Ooh La La For Him from My Minds Eye, which is available at Shop and Crop. Entries close 30 November and the most creative entry will win a $20 S&C voucher!
Upload your layouts here, and be sure to have fun!

Girls Night In
My gym is having a Girl's Night In with an auction and bra decorating comp. at the end of the month to raise funds for Breast Cancer, an insidious disease that affects way too many women, several of my friends included. So I decided to make a donation for the auction.....

Had time to play :-)
I'm struggling with an obscenely overcrowded desk so my recent pages are mostly created from what is at hand, stuff half-used but too significant to bin. They don't usually match and sometimes the whole act of putting them together leads to a very slap-dash job. But the stories are being told, they are in the albums, and I don't really have to love the look of them, they are meaningful for the family. It is also quite cathartic to create copious amounts just for the act of doing it, it helps me to stay in the zone and means that things improve and I end up doing some stuff which I love.
So here are a few ho-hum pages (inspired by challenge blogs) of which I'm not too fond.....
At Scrapping Word Pictures
and BASBand Ad This, this is from the sept. 28 challenge, I can't ever seem to get them in on time

CPR - Tamworth
Had a great time and now ruminating, debriefing with myself. Shared a table with Diane, Meg, Julie, Pam, Tracey, and Rhonda, fabulous fun girls and had lots of laughs. Caught up with Jilly and Ngaire from Brissy and did all their classes (only had one little tanty trying to do a 4hr mini-album class in 2 hrs but Diane came to my rescue :-) Also met up with old buddies from last time I went, Bronnie and Pauline, both great value!
Below is my page done in Ngaire's layout class, has all the fun and funky elements, just shuffled around a bit to accommodate a landscape pic instead of portrait orientation. Must say I'm loving it, so not my usual style!
Huge thank-you to Deb for organising the weekend and making it so much fun!
